My Hat Collection (part two)

Winter is a good time to wear hats in Canada. Especially out here on the West Coast where it is really cold in January. Why, just today it was a brisk 7°C. I almost froze to death. Plus, it was really sunny and just looking at the picturesque mountains, trees, beaches, and ocean made me depressed. I’m never going out again. Okay, maybe a few times, but only to display my hat collection.

Shh… don’t tell anyone. It’s a secret (see Albert Markovski (huckabees) quote below).

“Have you ever transcended space and time?
Yes. No. Uh, TIME, not space… No, I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

A great way to top it off* would be to showcase your hat head collection as well.

If you do, I’ll match it with a week long photo montage of my incredible bed head.

    Girl,

You are just too sweet, too funny, too cool, too rockin’, too totally awesome! Lisa, your blog is amazing. It seems so weird to be sitting in front of my computer scrolling through entry after entry and getting to know you this way. Generally, I don’t do this sort of thing, but I can’t help it. You present a captivating picture of a young woman who is driven, successful, creative and totally unconfined by norms. You aren’t afraid to be yourself and I think this is what draws me to you. You embody what young women should look up to. You’re happy, healthy and living large. I admire your tenaciousness and joie de vivre and I hope that someday, our paths will cross for real. I know I don’t know you, but I hope I get the opportunity to meet you soon and please know that if you ever decide to journey to my side of the world, you’ll have a place to stay and a friend who’s door will always be open for you.

You are the sweetest. Your comment could not come at a better time. I was having a one person pity party and you snapped me back to reality. I can’t thank you enough for your beautiful words.

I am so happy you like my blog. I often think that I push the limits with some of my posts. Too silly, too sassy, too cynical, too obscure. Most of the time, I just write what sounds funny or ridiculous in my own head. And most of the time, I am fairly certain no one really understands the point I am trying to make. So I am ecstatic that someone as
fantastic as you is actually “picking up what I’m putting down”. I love it.

I am also so grateful to have met you through the hazy, often dubious world of blogging. And if we don’t find each other in the same city or on the same side of the world, then we will just have to resolve to meet in the middle
    somewhere beachy and beautiful.
