Sometimes it’s really hard to sum up your emotions towards someone on a card. And with the range of emoticons increasing every day, you may find yourself unable to define the complexity of your feelings of love with :razz: :lol: :cry: :wink:
In anticipation of Valentine’s day, I took out my sketch pad to draw some loving illustrations to help inspire you to make your own “hey, i just love you rotten” cards for your special someone or perhaps someone who isn’t so special and you don’t even like.
For that annoying co-worker:
For that person you know nothing about because you’ve never listen to a word they say because they are boring and you get really distracted by their inappropriate fashion statements that you pretend to like, but don’t:
For that ex-boyfriend/girlfriend who broke up with you the day before Valentine’s Day:
For that needy facebook friend who sends you 20 quiz requests like, “What Kind of Sunflower are You?” everyday: (I guess at the end of the day, giving them a wee bit of sympathy makes you a better person).

February 11, 2008 at 10:39 AMI like the toothy ants, but the misfit triangle is my favorite..
I wanted to say your Redpilot teaser is fantastic, fantastic! However I was left hanging at the end, waiting for all the elements to come together. Great colors, composition though. Keep up the good work!

February 11, 2008 at 2:39 PMwell well well , another valentines day is apon us.. little story that I have might help some fellow lovers on this great day. It was a cold night 20 years ago when my mom lit my dad on fire because…as she says ” because he was soooo cool” and every Valentines day has been the same:
1984 – I do some bad drugs and run amok, killing several gingerbread men as I thought they were “Satans Soldiers”
1990 – My offical george michael love doll is stolen and set on fire
1993 – all is good, my girlfriend loves me and we want to start a family
1993 – turns out she is really dating me for my trans am, which is stolen and set on fire
2001 – puppy ran over a record 5 times
2003 – my girlfriend chose to leave me for a man of 90
2003 – the same girlfriend burned down my house,says I needed to learn a lesson
2004 – my secret valentine turns out to be my cousin “curtis”
2006 – my car is stolen and set on fire
2007 – my new car is stolen and set on fire
I am very optimistic but i feel that my life is going to get good soon enough
thanks for listenin

You see the penguins are my mortal enimy! I belong to the minority that cheers for the Purple Marshmallows in the race for world dominashion against the Penguins, Eclipse Mints and Gummmy Bears.

February 13, 2008 at 5:23 AM@Pablo — they sure are grrrrrrrrreat!
@Tony — vampire ants. they really are quite lovely once you get to know them. thanks for the props on the redpilot teaser. we did that almost a year and a half ago. that was our first video, first time using CS2 and Final Cut, even a digital camera. i’ve learnt loooooads since then, but it’s a nice reminder of how far my little company has gone.
@Dennis — if they do, i have an infinite library of drawings like that as i have been doodling penguins for many years. though, i am seriously considering making some t-shirts!
@Grant — :LOL: hi-5!
@Mel — i’m on it! aww, pimping your new blog on mine. you’re learning all my tricks, you sneaky lil thing! anyway, i’m glad you’re keeping your blog spirit alive. and now that you’ve been suspended, you’ll have loads of time to rant on ur nieu blog.
@clarkbeer — if you time it just right, you may be able to catch a free ride to rehab with Miss Spears, Winehouse, or Lohan. then maybe you could add rehab relationship with drugged-out popstar to 2008.
@ComposeAnalysis — you’re welcome.
@Tino — thanks. hmm. you’d rather Gummy Bears win in the race for world domination? but alls they got in they’re little gummy heads is more gummy and i’m fairly certain that gummy isn’t very good at figuring out solutions to the world’s problems. at least penguins have a brain and a large beak that would snap through those purple marshmallows in one bite.
