News Bulletin: Snowstorm Hits Vancouver

March 1st, 2007.

Snowy log Vancouver

Early this morning, Vancouverites were caught unawares by a huge blizzard. The huge heaping mounds of snow caused “discomfort” and “my Sippy’s ears are cold”.

Ted Hallermeiger, Snow Expert and Science Hobbyist states that snow is “not caused by global warming”, but “when snow melts, it makes water, so a tsunami is definitely a strong to minor possibility”. What does that even mean Ted?

We may never know.

In a related News Story (Associated Press):

Plant life was found frozen in this pail.

This quote was found on page 1 (of 1) of the “Toastables Weekly News Update” by President, Arnold Somebody:

Peanut Butter may not spread as evenly as we had hoped.

Also, while walking his dog, Johnny Butterfield turns to his little sister and asks, “I like balloons. Will this ever fly again?”

There was no reply.

And to think I spent all day making these tennis racket showshoes. They were almost done when the snow melted.

    *disappointed*

You really are a very talented photographer and have a gift in noticing ordinary things that you make unique through your compositions.

It is hard to imagine Vancouver with snow…. I remember how school would be closed at the mere thought of it….

Well it snowed like crazy here on the island the other day…it was absolute white out conditions the worst I have ever experienced…it made for an extremely long nail biting ride home…snow is still here and it tried again today.

I absolutely love your photos….wow is all I can say…so clear and crisp…wonderful….first thought that comes to mind for me was “I’d love you to photograph my girls”….but really you are very talented.

I found you via WCW, you were highlighted as someone new to the site. I am as well. I think it is going to be a fabulous site. Crunchy Carpet has done an amazing job!
