March 30, 2008 at 7:10 PMSee I kinda understand this weather, in Ottawa we still have 10 ft snowbanks so hail is fair game.

March 31, 2008 at 7:11 AMI moved here from Texas a year ago and I’m still trying to recalibrate my weather jargon. When I hear someone say “hail storm” I still think of giant chunks of ice battering roofs, destroying cars, breaking windows, and killing livestock. Then I look outside and see a little sleet and I have yet another reason to be thankful that I’m not in Texas any more.

Serious. Hail the size of golfballs, baseballs, even grapefruit. Terrifying stuff.

April 5, 2008 at 7:39 AMDoom, doom, DOOM!
Indeed, what’s up with the weather the past couple of weeks? It’s like the weather gods and goddesses are on crack… one minute rain, the next snow, then hail… then sun and blue skies…
When I saw you running Lisa, all I could think was ‘run Lisa, run!’

April 8, 2008 at 10:41 AMHey Lisa!
I am from Vancouver, and yah, you guys are totally having bizarre weather up there!! My mom called me that day telling me about it lol – snow, sun, hail, sun, wind, sun, hail, rain, sun…all in one day!! haha
I am in Texas now, so like Spike said, hail and thunder storms are the norm :P but for Van, that is definitely not the case.
I also wanted to thank you for the bday wishes on my blog!! You rock, Lisa :D
