While cleaning my kitchen today, I found a lovely treat hidden in the back of my tea, jello pudding, and granola bar cupboard. Well, call me “Kindersurprised!” Because I was. I thought my xmas stocking Kinder Surprise egg was MIA or eaten by a certain chocolate fiend that sneaks my treats when I am unawares.
So, just for my favourite blogging audience, I introduce a new segment/fun game called: Kindersurprised! I will post a series of photos as the kinder toy is being built and at the end you say:
“Ach Yah, I was Kindersurprised!” or “Nish, nish, that was Kinderfalsch.”
Let’s see what’s inside the magic orange and yellow egg…
NB. He would like to be addressed as Captain Foushad.

March 27, 2007 at 4:34 PMOh my giddy God’s pajamas!!!! I remember the Kinder suprise egg!!! From happier times when my dad would jet off for Munich and Frankfurt for work and bring my sister and I the little happy eggs… alas, that was quite a while ago.
Wie gehts, Captain Foushad?

March 27, 2007 at 8:44 PMCaptain Foushad says, “Ich habe keine Zeit für Ihre Unverschämtheit.”
Traslation: I have no time for your insolence.
Please pardon the Captain, he was demoted from Colonel yesterday due to chronic tardiness. He has been in a particularly foul mood ever since.

March 28, 2007 at 1:08 AMWell, I already had a little studio set up in my living room and was doing some lighting tests AKA “work” for an upcoming photoshoot, and I just couldn’t help myself when I opened up the egg and saw his eager little face. I just wanted to share Captain Foushad in all his commanding grace as a thank you to all my favourite bloggers… like you!
