I’m taking the red eye to London tomorrow via Heathrow. I’m very happy to be traveling with British Airways this time. They offer online checking service which allows you to pick your seat 24 hours before your flight. So I managed to nab a coveted over-the-wing/extra legroom/fire exit row seat. Yippee. My unbruised knees are already thanking me.
I am planning all sorts of fun things this trip, the most nerdy fun being my planned trip to the Regent St. Apple Store in London. It’s the biggest Apple store in the whole wide world and I’m gonna get a new iPaaaad as a belated birthday present from Tom and finally get my greedy Canadian hands on an iPhone. Just fondle it for a while. It’s will be difficult parting with it, but at least I will have shared an iMoment with one.
I’ll keep you up to date with my adventures whilst in England. You never know what Mostly Lisa might get up to…. Here are some videos from my last trip to put you in the British spirit!

November 14, 2007 at 2:34 PMI don’t think European iPhones work properly in the U.S. which makes me doubt they will work in Canada. European phones are built on the 3G network and we don’t have that in North America yet, as far as I know. Feel free to prove me wrong though ; )

November 15, 2007 at 12:54 PM@Nate: The European iPhone’s aren’t 3G. We’re limited to EDGE like the phones in the US. Which sucks, as 3G would be lovely on my morning commute to school :(

November 15, 2007 at 11:30 PM@Nathan Makan — thanks! you’re a much lovelier welcome than Eastenders which i did not get at all. seriously, how many characters can you fit into a half hour show.
@Nate — aww… you didn’t know that? i thought everyone knew that! it’s a huge reason why a lot of UKers aren’t getting the iPhone. But still, I shall fondle and bask in it’s glory as i head to the iPod section.
@Tom — an iPaaaaaaaaaaaaad!
@Nathan Makan — i now dub thee, Mostly Lisa’s official iThing expert. feel free to allow techno newbies to bask in the sweet rays of your knowledge any time you wish.
