Random Trivia about Geese you’ll never use… did you know the only difference between the Hawaiian Nene Bird and Canadian Geese is… Canadian Geese have webbed feet, Hawaiian Nene Birds don’t which allows them to walk on the rough volcanic rocks better.
I love that 70-200/2.8L, wanna get really spoiled though? Add a 2x converter to it :) with your XTi it essentially becomes a 640mm/5.6 :)

Happy Dominion Day! Okay, okay, Happy Canada Day!
So what do you have planned for our country’s b-day…? I hope it has nothing to do with that childhood game… duck, duck, [canada] goose… ; P
God Bless,

July 1, 2008 at 5:26 AMNice goose photos. And yes Canadian geese do have strange necks. They’re much cuter as babies though.
I took a bunch of photos of them one day in Calgary, you can see them on an old blog post of mine … http://ryanhellyer.net/2005/05/13/princes-island-park-in-calgary/ (shot on a Canon S1 IS)

July 1, 2008 at 4:16 PMI think the top one is the best photo. I like the down on the ground view. And I like the tighter shot of the duck….or should I say goose. lol
