So what do you think? The glasses… they make me look pretty smart don’t they? I could be a nuclear physicist, or a doctor of some kind, perhaps a shrewd lawyer, or a mathematics genius, noble prize winning peace person… couldn’t I?
I just want to be taken seriously and just receive an ounce of respect for my thoughts, opinions and vast knowledge of loads of stuff. I want my agent to stop sending me to beer commercials where I have to mud wrestle in booty shorts or make-out with girl vampires or shag zombies in bar restrooms. Seriously!I wanna be recognized for more than just my outer shell. I have a highly trained mind, keen “watching and learning” skills, and a heart that… um… What do hearts do? Uhh… care? Yah, and a heart that cares for others!!!So I’m asking you, my beloved blog followers, to:Vote ‘Yes’ for Smart Lisa.

Any and all comments discussing and/or praising the smartness Lisa will be gratefully accepted and admired and perhaps printed and glued into an “I am Smart. S-m-r-t” scrapbook.

Hard to ignore your outer shell when it makes so many different glasses look so good.
Whether you do or don’t look smart, you are smart. Your good looks will never make you stupid, they just give you an opportunity to surprise the unsuspecting. Have fun with it.
(Did I make the scrapbook?)

October 6, 2007 at 3:37 AMI think you would look smarter in the last pair of glasses….in a bikini….making out with an Angelina Jolie Zombie…. in a mud field. Yeah. Now THAT is smart looking.

October 6, 2007 at 5:40 AMI agree with bloodhound here. You are smart with or without the glasses. Heck, I think you make the glasses look pretty smart.

October 7, 2007 at 2:41 AMBeautiful. And she has amazing control over her expressions. How do you make one just slightly different from the next one so that it will go with the difference in style of the product? I doubt it’s as easy as it looks.
I can’t tell about the verbal expressiveness but the visual definitely has acting potential.

October 7, 2007 at 4:37 AM@bloodhound — thanks. that def made the scrapbook in the “positive affirmation” section.
@gjap — that is basically the definition of smart in my books. i’d like to add a jessica alba vampire into the mix to really really look smart.
@Darrell Klein — i make the glasses look smart, not the other way round. hmmm… something to consider.
@Xavier — u said pwn. giggle. how’s the great fb app race going?
@Chris — that’s my stern teacher look… in fact i did teach a few university classes and it took a long time to gain the students’ respect since i looked about 18… so i developed a very effective stern glance that i shot at misbehaviors and test cheaters. when that didn’t work i smacked them with a ruler.
@Buenos Aires Me Duele — abrazos para todos ustedes
@kastor417 — no diggity no doubt!
@David – i like how you are referring to me in the third person. it makes me feel more important… almost royal even. it’s definitely not easy to create a plethora of different emotions especially since i was shot in 24 different frames.
the expressions were described as on serious, one serious/sexy, three types of smilies (small, medium “luminous”, and large “effervescent”).
if you like try it yourself, stand in front of a mirror and emote “luminous” then send me a picture and see how well ya did.
for verbal expressiveness, you can watch my amusing viddyos.

Yeah, but then you gotta go the whole spanky leather thing and that is touch and go as to how smart one can look. I guess if there was baby oil everywhere, then that would be Einsteintastic.

October 7, 2007 at 2:49 PM@gjap — oh i can rock the whole spanky leather thing.

October 7, 2007 at 6:17 PMLisa, the 703b, 116a, 711a and all look good; and for an upclose eyewear shot, enlarged pupils (honestly I thought there might be some ps going on, but i know better) do the trick, cause you know what they say.
Did I miss something about beer, bars, mud wrestle, make-out with girl, vampires, zombies, Jolie, Alba…oh well.
I know how traumatizing this was… http://lisabettany.wordpress.com/2007/08/30/mostly-lisa-presents-a-model-moment/

October 8, 2007 at 12:55 AMVery smart Lisa. You make them all look good. I wonder if you could pull off a pair of those black frames, thick magnifying lens glasses?
mcpaige
October 8, 2007 at 5:54 AMYea, how well can you sport some “pointy glasses” (AKA Grandma 1960’s style) or “BC glasses” (AKA Military Birth Control, bootcamp issue)
Oh, check out http://shutterhappy.blogspot.com/ .

But you’re not wearing glasses in the video, thus you don’t look smart. That is why it is touch and go. Speaking of touching and going.
Happy Turkey day.

October 8, 2007 at 1:20 PMI feel the comments are going to start going round in circles!
