Peaking over the screen of MB I saw this uber sunset, so jumped up, grabbed my camera, and ran out my door and into the middle of the street to snap this shot.
PS. Danger is my middle name.
PPS. I realized, only after returning to my apartment, that I was still wearing my pajama bottoms. Oh well, the humiliation was worth it for this photo.

April 5, 2008 at 7:43 AMThat’s an awesome picture Lisa. Lately I find myself taking lots of pictures of the sky as well.
With all this wacky weather the past few weeks, I’m growing fond of cloud pictures. They look like big soft marsh mellows :) and sometimes even cup cakes… mmmm… snackage!
As for you running outside still wearing your pajama bottoms, small disclaimer, keep in mind I’m male, does this mean you were topless?
Speaking of the phrase topless, what about shirtless? To me when you hear topless that means a female without a shirt and when I hear shirtless, that makes me think of a guy without a shirt.
Thoughts?

April 5, 2008 at 8:19 AMPJ bottoms are still all the rage up here as fashion statement, though I suspect they went out down there a decade ago. Life in the north.
But at least you had PJs on; I’ve been known to run out in just my underwear for a cool shot. I live in a society where that’s socially acceptable for guys to do that sort of thing, despite the complaints from the neighbours. I also don’t live in downtown Vancouver, so the number of viewers is usually

@michael — if i took a picture today it would look like pea soup that’s grey and perhaps even moldy.
@Sean — marsh mallow cup cake… you sure like separating those compound words! hmm. i’ve said topless three times really fast and nothing happened. let’s try shirtless. shhhhhhirrrrrtlesssssss. nope nothing.
@Trent — is usually…. finish your thought…. waiting…. wait wait wait. fine don’t answer. see if i take any notice. got any moose shots?
@Luc — mm warm.
@michael — link? yeah fingers in the shot… not so much. i’m so digging torchwood. had to take a break to watch BSG, but i’m looking forward to watching it on the plane ride down to Cancun. ole!
@Cory — sweet! i tried to get it when it was yellow. thought the juxtaposition might be nice, but since i had to position myself in the middle of the road, red was really the only option.
@funkyboy — i am. Vancouver is the bomb.
