no obstacle is too great for OA

no-obstacles-for-oa

I dedicate this Hidden Treasures post to the Opportunitas Aequa Crew who successfully delivered soccer equipment to children in impoverished communities in Ecuador.

The soccer field is built. The equiment has arrived. And the boys have delivered the soccer balls and cleats to hundreds of children in what they call “the most rewarding experience of the entire project.”

Congratulations!

Lisa, thanks for the post and the kind words. It means a lot to the crew down here in Ecuador to have people following along and rooting for us. A very sincere thank you, from all of us.

You are most welcome, Andrew. Reading your Project Ecuador blog and following your adventures with your Video Journals has been a daily inspiration to me. I can’t wait to see what OA does in the future!

Thanks Darrell. I was pleased as punch when I walked past this hidden treasure scene with the soccer ball on a bit of scraggly grass in front of a broken bit of black metal railing and a detour sign. It was definitely a *magic* moment because I was just thinking about Project Ecuador and how much I wanted to dedicate a picture to them. And I hadn’t stumbled upon anything cool for weeks… and then the rain clouds parted for a few moments, and two steps from my door in the “area of the missing clown” I found this perfect metaphor of the struggle and the success of Project Ecuador, hidden inside this alley way treasure.
