Packing for England

Feb 13 2008

Well, I’m off to England tomorrow for 8 days. I will be flying via Heathrow, London on British Airways. I am actually looking forward to the flight. 8.5 hours goes by in a snap with all-you-can-watch-movie touch screen display! I will be blogging whilst abroad, so stay tuned. You never know what kinds of tricksy things I will get up to in Jolly England. Maybe I’ll finally find Hogwarts, or get locked in a telephone box, get attacked by a three pronged plug, or maybe even take a ride with Postman pat.

    Perfect packing job Lisa… mostly ;)

    Everything you’ll ever need is in your bag it seems… except a camera. Yes. You need one of those, however clothes? Nah, not needed. Your trusty gloves will keep you warm.

    Have fun over the pond. Be sure to do a little pub crawling for me.

    Believe it or not, I’ve had my sun glasses out this week, so your timing is good, the weather is grand over here!

    Good luck in your continuing battle against the three pronged plugs. They rock if you treat ‘em nice!

    If you’ve never been to London I will assure you that you will love it. I only so far spent a weekend there and I want to go back now.

    If you find the time and want to experience some vegan food, go to Pogo Cafe and order a Pogo Burger with chips on the side.

    @Grant — i’ve always wanted to go there. i have a wee bit of Scottish blood in me and i just love castles. when i was little i used to draw architectural plans of my favourite castles using my geometry kit which i got 3 years before i was supposed too. i just liked castles and geometry. that’s normal right?

    @Sean — i am a bit chilly without pants.

    @Ian — still having issues with the three pronged plug. one just attacked my face. i may have permanent scars.

    @Marty — indeed.

    @Pablo — yeah, i’m totally gonna hook up with H. Potter and the DA crew for some lattes on sat.

    @ComposeAnalysis — i’ve yet to have beans, what gives?

    @xen ix — thanks for the recommendation. i hate when my fries are put in the middle of my plate.
