Strobist info:

we used a ball bungee to secure the slave flash (480ex) on a large wooden umbrella on the beach and mounted the (580ex) onto the camera and voila!

Settle down, Nate – This is called “a girl”. If you’re really good, and eat all your vegetables, and stop picking your nose at the table, maybe one day you will actually meet one of these lovely creatures. Meanwhile, remember that girls would rather have beauty than brains, because guys can see better than they can think. You’ve just proven that once more.

It seems as if there is a huge influx of sexy/geeky/cute tech girls springing up all over the place. First Veronica Belmont, then Felicia Day, and now you Lisa!!! My goodness, I can’t keep up anymore! I’m gonna melt if I see more of you popping up like this! Anywho, Lisa you are uber uber hott (with two t’s!!!) and your mannerisms on camera are way cute too.

The guys from my local photography club would say that the horizon is not straight and the mast near the center of the frame is distracting but I would say: “What horizon? What boat?”. :-)

Awesome shot. Particularly like that you’re facing away from the hard light. Again, awesome.
