I’m just about to fall asleep for the first time in 41 hours. The launch of Camera+, the iPhone photo App I’ve been working on with Taptaptap, coupled with iPhone 4 buzz, the AT&T fail, and general WWDC pandemonium.
I just wanted to let everyone, especially budding photographers, about this ridiculous promotion we are doing for Camera+ to win my dream camera rig (valued at over $10,000).
It will physically hurt me to give this amazing gear away, but they are making me… boo hiss.

Done! That would be the perfect complement to my shiny new 7D (which I’m still getting used to)! I just can’t let go of my 20D though…it’s been a faithful friend for five years and 55,000 shots.
Up here in ND, the iPhone is a non-issue; AT&T service is so spotty that it doesn’t make sense to choose them as a provider. I have never even SEEN an iPhone in person. Hopefully that changes down the road (Verizon, hint hint…). I use an LG enV for cell phone pics and it’s really nice, but this app looks like it’d be perfect for people who never want to go anywhere without a capable (and now stylistic) camera!

Wow awesome! This would be so much fun to finally break into HD video on an SLR. Btw heard about your app on This Week in Tech! I don’t have an iphone or even a smart phone yet lol but will be picking up the iphone4 and this will be my first app into taking photos with my phone. Can’t wait!
I had some problems finding your app, another app Camera Plus, turned up when I searced for it on the App Store – it was also released the same day.
This would be amazing since I’m starting school in the fall I wouldn’t have to deal with borrowing equipment from the school. But this is just a dream… its an amazing and I’m hoping I win. *crosses fingers*
Just grabbed the Camera+ app for the iPhone. Can’t imagine how much of an improvement it is over the regualer app. Thank you!

What a wonderful contest! I’m currently shooting with an XSi and a few budget lenses and this setup would indeed be a dream come true. I’m planning on picking up the latest iteration of the iphone and Camera+ will be among the first apps I purchase!

Currently I’m shooting film with an Eos 3 and 5d m2 will be a good help for me. working with film is hard and expensive:)
