What a gorgeous photo. The wispy clouds look like a snowstorm. I’ve always been so moved by the sight of a Canadian flag against a clear blue sky.

That is a great sky. Don’t you wish you could have a sky like that in every photo? It has a little bit of everything in the way of clouds.

    Hi Lisa,

This is a beautiful picture and makes me ache for home. My friend, Jo Rees, told me to check out your site. She told me about your amazing photography and she’s right. You’ve got a great thing going here. I’ll be back for more!

Thanks. I love shooting sky. Lucky for me lovely lady Vancouver provides me with some beautiful scenery to juxtapose against the beautiful sky.

And welcome to globetrotteri, Carrie. Thanks for the photo friendly feedback. Are you from Vancouver?

You need to take more shots of your feet.

    Hi Lisa,

I’m from Ottawa but I’ve lived in Asia for the past four years. That’s why I’m always happy to see friendly bloggers spreading a little bit of patriotism! It brings a touch of home to my world over here.

Many thanks for the link on GiveMeaning. It’s a great site and I will be sure to pass it on to my friends as well. Often, it’s difficult for me to participate in any charity work over here unless it’s with the Taiwanese community or online community. So, you’ve given me something else to work on.

There are so many inspiring projects to get involved in around the world through GiveMeaning. You can even start your own project for a cause you believe it. The site is very interactive, so you can find out how to start a project or learn about what is happening with the project of your interest through blogs and comments. The site is continually growing and as we speak, my multimedia company, Redpilot is working with GiveMeaning to add podcasts and vodcasts to their site and on youtube to help smaller projects get their voice out there.

One project that is close to me is Opportunitas Aequa’s Project Ecuador.

Also, if you want to be inspired you must watch the stunningly beautiful documentary “Born in Brothels” Watching that film changed my life. It really did. I hope you get a chance to watch it.
