… usual hi-jinks ensue. Those Brits sure know how to make some sweet rides. Nemesis was definitely the big daddy, with Oblivion close behind. I’m glad I ate my huge portion of Fish and Chips after riding the big guns. Though my stomach was no so stoked about the combination of mushy peas and the hardcore Nutty Squirrel ride.
Oh & check out my Alton Towers Flickr photo set.
PS. I used almost every iLife iMovie packaged tune in the making of this vid. I hope I used alll your favs. Hoorah for Roller Derby!
PPS. Still dusting and tweaking a few things on ze blog at the moment. Pasquale helped me switched hosts to Media Temple (mt), did a clean install of WP, and de-widgetize my sidebar. Holla at me if you notice any 404s, missing links, etc.. And I apologize if your comment was deleted. I lost a few in the transfer. Let’s hug it out

Wow that themepark looks scary. They just started building a weird looking gigantic bunch of rides right on the city bank.
P.S. Hope I didn’t break your blog in half toooooo much moving and tweaking Lis! So crazy that it propagated on my end before yours

I honestly think the Oblivion ride would make me scream. I can always feel it, just by watching it.

I am wishing I could have been there Lisa. I love roller coasters and those look great. Especially the one around 3 minutes 15 seconds. I am not sure what it does but my mind has come up with many scary endings for it.

Wow… it’s made me wat to go to Alton Towers again!
However you can bollocks if you think I’m going during the school holidays. That would be like paying £30 for the most stressful day of your life… Not for me. I don’t fancy the thought of queueing for 3 hours for a 30 second ride
Blog’s lookin really good Lisa, the tweaks have freshened her up a treat!
@ Dennis, hell yeah Oblivion is great it does strange things to your stomach. I’ve seen no end of kids get off it an barf. good times!

Holy cow, I think the Oblivion would probably make me cry.

Can you let me know how your new MT hosting is working out for you after your first month… we use Mosso.com and have been eyeing MT… and also, your contact page is missing whatever it used to have.
And holy smokes - Oblivion!

I have a Media Temple account, but for some reason I just host all my friends’ accounts on it instead of mine. Best $20 a month I ever spent!

This is really weird - my favourite Canadian blogger suddenly posts about the beloved cheesy theme park I used to go to all the time when I was a kid in England.
Actually Alton Towers wasn’t nearly as good as Chessington World of Adventures.
