OMG!! I hope to improve a little, or not?

Yowza. That reminds me of my friend’s lesson in sunblock application:

Take heart–you did better than him.

The line is already forming for dedicated volunteers offering to apply your lotion, Lisa B.

@Mel — my nose is reeeeeeed. uhhhh i’m such a dork.
@duane — yeah the hot tub did not help.
@Adso — still on fire…
@Darren — haha. yes, that’s exactly it. that’s what happens when you spend all your time indoors interneting. skin kinda freaks out when it sees the sun. and that was with 45 sunblock. yowzers.
@Mark J — you’ll have to get behind Carlos, the 18 year old pool boy.

OWIE. Tomato juice is supposed to help. Mushroom.
Macanuck said on April 21st, 2008 at 6:36 pm
What is this thing you call a “sun”? IT has been snowing (yup, as in chilled rain) for the last four days.
Nate said on April 21st, 2008 at 7:23 pm
That’s gonna be awesome when it starts to peel.
Mostly Lisa said on April 21st, 2008 at 10:53 pm
@Pasquale — Mushroom soup!
@Macnuck — heehee. ooops. aww, it sucks here too… mostly.
@Nate — peeling scalp skin is always the most exciting and disgusting at the same time.

What the hell did you do? roll in a puddle of sun block and then say “That’ll do”?
Scuba Steve said on April 22nd, 2008 at 8:07 am
Well Lisa, I feel your pain. And right now you can call me Carlos the pool boy. Put some Aloe on it and don’t let it spoil your fun in the sun.
Bennett Seo said on April 22nd, 2008 at 9:43 am
I will rub some after sun in if you want?
Raul said on April 22nd, 2008 at 11:19 am
Ouch Lisa, so sorry to see that my beloved Mexican sun wasn’t kind to your skin
Pero bueno, finalmente, I like your blog with a tan AND without a tan, hehehe.
Nuno Neves said on April 23rd, 2008 at 12:28 am
Oh…. Poor Lisa. Don´t worry girl! I think no one will care about those sun spots

*fellow noob raises his hand*
Last summer I went canoing, put on sunscreen standing up by the shore, and totally failed to take into account that my shorts would ride up when I sat down:

Haha. I mean ouch. That reminds me of my trip to the South Coast of Spain last year. I got severely beaten by the sun and then managed to get stung by an enormous jellyfish across my chest.
I was obviously looking amazingly good looking after all that.
Mostly Lisa said on April 24th, 2008 at 12:02 pm
@Dan — seems so. gah. i’m such a dork. though i woke up this morning and my burn is turning a lovely tan colour.
@Scuba Steve — home now. boo. no more sun. aaaand i have flip flop tan on my feet. ouch.
@Raul — i had a brief affair with the Mexican sun pero nuestra relación era tan caliente para continuar. Voy a perder aunque.
@Nuno — even the ones that laugh and point at me?
@Dana — oOOoo zoink! nice one. *giggles*
@Mark — oh my!!! that sounds painful. how enormous was this jelly fish? i was attacked by a jelly fish towel monster. he didn’t bite, but tried to strangle me to death.

Yikes! I hope your skin is feeling better now. The worst sunburn I ever got was on my honeymoon in Mexico and now I’ve just decided to never got swimming in the sun mid day. Glad things are working out with your new site!
