MostlyLisa.com is featured on Best Web Gallery! Sweeeeeeeeeeet! I have been drooling over the uber sites on Best Web Gallery (my all-time favourite design gallery) for almost a year. In fact, I have a Sunday night tradition where I made a nice pot of tea and set out a huge plate of chocolate covered biscuits and peruse all the newly awarded sites on BWG, FWA and the plethora of CSS galleries I follow.
The real props should go to the award-winning designers of this blog: Coding Monkeys.co.uk.
Next week, I will be heading to Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England, which is quickly becoming my home away from home, to meet up with Tom, Coding Monkey’s Head honcho. After he schools me on the Xbox, flaunts his new MB Air, and we hit up Tescos to grab some Onken and crisps, I will sit down with Tom and ask him a few questions about his successful web design business. Stay tuned for that interview next week!

Congrats on the BWG feature, that’s kickass. My company’s music licensing site (Burst Labs) was a FWA feature last year and we still get tons of hits from people finding us there! Very cool.
If you come across an amazing php/flash guru (or a team, herd, gaggle of gurus) send ‘em my way… been looking for someone to help with updates at the Lab. Oh, and by “amazing” I mean someone who doesn’t miss deadlines by 5 months. Argh.

@Grant — thanks for digging my blog. i’m pretty much the nicest person i know, so it doesn’t really come as a huge surprise that i do nice things. it’s my modesty that gets me into trouble. “just accept the compliment Lisa!” Okok. thanks!
@Daniel Holter — it is totally kickass. i actually squealed when i saw my face on the BWG front page. ooh FWA. that is the shizznizz of best web galleries! i’ll head over and look at your site right now. i know loads of php/flash guru that do miss deadlines by 5 months, but they’re a dime a dozen aren’t they. i’ll put my feelers out and hit you up if i hear of anyone.

I got your message, it’s strange as I was checking out your site when it got onto BWG, unfortunately the other CSS galleries haven’t yet decided to bow down to my ‘uberness’, despite my pretty convincing messages to them, trying to force them into submission.
Even this one http://www.css-design-yorkshire.com/ seem resistent despite me being a genuine yorkshireman, I thought they would easily accept their brethren.
