You must know from my photo series, i heart Mother Earth, that I am a not a big fan of polluting our beautiful home with excessive amounts of garbage. There is simply too much garbage. Period. Yuck!

Pet Peeve: Too many plastic bags. I have plastic bag spilling out of every place I stuff them into. I try to reuse plastic bag whenever I can, but I can never contain the spread of their plasticness all over my apartment.
What can you do with excess plastic bags? Well, if you are feeling an art attack coming on, here’s a crafty crochet project that my Mum (recently retired and new to the fun of the internet) found while googling: Crocheted Plastic Bag Tote. Click on the link for instructions to crochet your very own plastic tote bag made of recycled plastic bag strips!
Here is a picture of the finished project taken by my arts and crafty Mum, Jane. I think it looks pretty snazzy!

I see a little friend snuck into the photo. He’s sneaky, that one!

Meet RedPilot’s new camcorder, the Canon (HDV) HV20 Camcorder.

Today at 5pm, Ry tracked down the one and only HV20 in all of Western Canada at a Best Buy in Richmond. So we booted over the bridge and snapped up the camera 5 minutes before Sunday night closing time.
And now we are now livin’ large in HD baby! Oh yes. HD! It is so sexy I can hardly contain myself. We are shooting our first corporate promotional video tomorrow. Exciting. I will now do a happy little nerd dance of joy.
NB. We must now thank our old camcorder, the Canon Optura 40, for all the fun times we had together. You have served us well and we are grateful for that. But now you must find joy in the reverse angle of life. You may not be front and centre, but you’re still our number two, and don’t you forget that!

In other Jessie Farrell news: “Let’s Talk about Love” is rocketing up the Canadian Country charts. After only 3 weeks, Jessie Farrell’s single “Let’s Talk About Love” has climbed to 26th. Also, this week Jessie’s song was added to the most radio stations in Canada of any new song!
Here’s a toast to Jessie XOX.

Here’s a non-toast to Tucker upstaging me in every photo!

Pez speaks the international language of fun! Even though the candy aspect of Pez has a little too much carnauba wax for my liking, the real enjoyment is in the “process” of getting the Pez from the mouth of a well known movie/cartoon character.
And doesn’t that say a lot about life? It’s the journey that counts, not the sugary snacks that pop up once and a while, providing you with a one-crunch, somewhat tasteless, rectangle of sugar that rots your teeth.
You are so deep, it’s kinda scaring me.
Is it that I’m being deep, or is it the fact that there might actually be a Jar Jar Binks Pez Dispenser somewhere out there… in the universe???
