I love the first pic in this series. The silhouette brings out the colour in the background, and makes the buildings look like they’re made of gold…

Nice shots. The second one is really wonderful: colors, clouds texture…

I really like these Lisa. That sky really adds a lot to the photos.

Thanks!
The sky was stunning that day. It was very moody and dark, until about 4:30pm when the sun broke through the clouds and hit the buildings of English Bay with golden light.

These photos are sublime. I love how you have captured the birds in flight, cityscape, and sculpture.

Thanks Joanna.
Those photos were taken during my first week using my new digital SLR. I was so happy, snapping shots of that beautiful sunset.
Next step, the wide-angle lens. I have my eye on one that would make those kind of landscape shots even better. First, I have to pay rent and food and we’ll see… maybe one day.
PS. Since that day I haven’t left my apartment without my camera (which is kind of a nuisance because it is so heavy and my camera bag rarely goes with my outfit).

That’s what we need! Fasionable camera bags! There are tonnes of options out there now for diaper bags but why are all camera bags so clunky, ugly and just so … camera bag-looking?
Your shots are stunning. What draws me to your photos is the colour–you really have a knack for capturing stunning light and such vibrant colour. The buildings in your “Flight” shots look gilded.
